Unicenter

1. Run Setup.exe from “Unicenter NSM for Windows CD”
2. Choose “Installation Wizard for Unicenter NSM”
3. Click Install
4. Choose “Install any or all Unicenter NSM Components”
5. Click Next
6. Scroll down to read the license agreement
7. Select “I accept the terms in the license agreement”
8. Click Next
9. Enter your name and company name

10.  Click Next

11.  Choose the options to be installed on the server. The following options are available:

12.  Uncheck the “Express Install” check box

13.  Verify all the required options are selected

14.  Click Next

15.  Click Next

16.  Specify the password for the “nsmadmin” user to connect to Ingres

17.  Click Next

18.  Click Next

19.  Click Next

20.  Choose the default “This machine will be processing its own Event Management messages”

21.  Select “Enable automatic trap translation”

22.  Click Next

23.  Click Next

24.  Enter the Tomcat administrator password

25.  Click Next

26.  Choose “The Global Catalog will reside on the local System”

27.  Click Next

28.  Verify and change the installation paths

29.  Click Next

30.  Review the components selected for installation

31.  Review all the selections

32.  Click Next

33.  Click Install to start the Unicenter NSM installation

34.  Close all open windows

35.  Click OK

36.  The Unicenter NSM installation starts

37.  The installation wizard completes the installation

38.  Verify that the installation wizard has completed all steps successfully by scrolling down

39.  Verify all the steps completed

40.  Click Close
