IBM today has announced it is getting into an agreement to acquire Big Fix Inc a privately held company based in Emeryville. This will help IBM in strengthening its foot prints in the Patch Management market.

Bigfix is a solution that helps customers reduce complexity in managing and keeping the critical systems updated, properly configured and free of security vulnerability.
